ELKHART — The “42nd Elkhart Juried Regional Exhibition” continues through Dec. 20 at the Midwest Museum of American Art, 429 S. Main St.

The annual exhibit provides a major survey of current trends by artists from 20 northern Indiana counties and four southern Michigan counties. This year, 199 artists submitted 344 works in all media for the judges’ consideration. The exhibition features 136 works of art by 111 artists.

Also open through Dec. 20, “Prints & Drawings II: From the Permanent Collection — A Spotlight Exhibit” features 30 never-before-seen works from the museum’s permanent collection. The artwork included in this exhibit ranges from representational to abstract.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Cost is $10-$6; free for members and ages 7 and younger.
