The Midwest Museum of American Art is pleased to present a new spotlight exhibit featuring the ceramic sculpture of Tom Meuninck.
The Michiana Masters program seeks to acknowledge those individuals who have accomplished high honors in their field. Using the Elkhart Juried Regional as a starting point, this program will annually feature standout, award-winning artists who have consistently proven themselves and their work to be high caliber.
The fifth Michiana Master to be given this posthumous recognition is Tom Meuninck (Walkerton). Tom was a visionary ceramic sculptor who, with his wife the late Karen Meuninck, taught and inspired generations of students. Tom was an outstanding award-winning artist in the Elkhart Juried Regional. From his participation throughout this exhibition’s 44-year history, he has received over twenty awards including one BEST OF SHOW in his twenty years of participation.
