ELKHART — The exhibit “James Wille Faust: The Geometric Edge of Nature” continues through Sept. 28 at the Midwest Museum of American Art, 429 S. Main St.

Based in Indianapolis, Faust came to prominence in the 1980s. His work displays a sense of transcendental color and surface illusionism in compositions that blend what has been described as a passage between reality and abstraction to transmit a beautiful but mysterious sense of clarity.

The exhibit includes 50 paintings and ine sculptures.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Admission is $10-$8; $25 for families.
