The Problem We All Live With, Collotype, Norman Rockwell
The Midwest Museum of American Art is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of a rare collotype of the Norman Rockwell painting, The Problem We All Live With, which was published for the first time as a centerfold in the January 14, 1964, issue of Look magazine. This painting is considered an iconic image of the Civil Rights Movement in the United States. This acquisition was funded by an anonymous donation.
On view now at the Midwest Museum of American Art through July 31, 2026, as part of the America’s Promise Commemorative Exhibition for the 250th Anniversary of the United States.
