Join us in celebrating the 47th anniversary of the Midwest Museum of American Art.
This year we will be honoring Tuck Langland. Tuck is a sculptor and former professor of sculpture at Indiana University South Bend. He is also the former Vice President of the National Sculpture Society. In 2013, he won the national award from National Sculpture Society (NSS) of New York City.
Tuck’s monument-size bronze figures are featured in hospitals, churches, private collections, museums, sculpture gardens, and dozens of other places. Well known sculptures created by Tuck include the Herman B. Wells statue, a sculpture of Ernie Pyle which sits outside of Franklin Hall at Indiana University Bloomington, the statue of Art Decio and his wife, Pat, which is on the Elkhart Civic Plaza and the Muse of Music (featured here) at the Midwest Museum of American Art.
