Join us on Thursday, July 25, at 12:20 PM for our Noon Time Film, This American Gothic.  

This film is a quirky portrait of Eldon, Iowa, population 998 (in 2008), site of the house that inspired one of the most famous paintings in the world— American Gothic, 1930, by Grant Wood. The documentary follows a group of local women as they work with a mission to create a Gothic House Visitor Center to attract tourists and save their struggling community.

This Noon Time Film is a part of an ongoing series of educational discussions and films held every Thursday at the Midwest Museum of American Art.

Admission: $5. MMAA Members Admitted Free
