A return to the Art Institute for the major exhibit Gustave Caillebotte: Painting His World. Impressionist artist Gustave Caillebotte (1848–1894)—known and beloved by many Art Institute visitors for his monumental painting Paris Street; Rainy Day—takes center stage in this major exhibition exploring the very personal interests and relationships that shaped his world.
This exhibition, which opened at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris in October 2024, includes more than 120 works—paintings, works on paper, photographs, and other ephemera from throughout Caillebotte’s career.
Itinerary and Fee
Depart promptly from MMAA at 10 AM on Monday, August 11. Arrive in Chicago by Noon. Return to Elkhart by 7:30 PM.
If you are planning to leave your car parked in Downtown Elkhart, please keep in mind that 2-Hour Parking may be enforced. Many 24 hour parking lots are available within walking distance from the MMAA. Compensation can not be made for parking violations.
Lunch is on your own. The Art Institute has a dining facility for your convenience.
The cost for this trip is $105 for MMAA members and $125 for non-members. This fee includes continental breakfast, museum and exhibition admission, as well as, a return wine & cheese snack.
